Marianne is a French national with 14 years experience of teaching French as a foreign language. She grew up and spent most of her life in Montpellier, in the south of France before moving on to complete a French Law Degree in Paris, in 1991.
Teaching her mother language to English-speaking children and adults has become Marianne's specialty since she first moved to Manchester in the United Kingdom.
She completed the City and Guild Certificate 7307 in teaching adults and in further education in 1993 and an Assessor Award D3-33 in 1995.
Since then she has taught in Adult Education centres, language schools, primary and secondary schools, in companies and through private tuition.
Since September 2006, she has been studying for the DAEFLE (diplôme d'aptitude à enseigner le français langue étrangère) taught and accredited by the Alliance Française de Paris.
